A startup developing an innovative test for early detection of cancer attributed the problem to a software bug. They reported that it was already eliminated. However, all patients who received this alarm were informed of the situation within 36 hours.

According to Grail, the test they developed can detect more than 50 different types of cancer from a single blood test. Recent trials of the product on 6,000 patients have yielded “promising results,” according to information from the company.
