Poco, a sub-brand of Xiaomi, has announced in China what promises to be its bestseller in late 2023 and early 2024: Little C65an entry-level mobile phone available for around 100 euros, which is equipped with a 50 megapixel camera, a MediaTek processor and a 5000 mAh battery.
Poco C65 has a design very similar to the rest of the smartphones in the brand’s catalog, with a completely flat back that is highlighted by a photography module at the top, and a front with a waterdrop notch and minimal bezels that include a 6.71 inch screen. It is an HD+ LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and is powered by a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging.
The Chinese brand’s new entry-level range also comes with Processor Helio G85., the same chip that powers phones like the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9. In this case, it is accompanied by different RAM and storage configurations. On the one hand, one with 6 GB and 128 GB; on the other, one with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB. In both cases, with the possibility of expanding storage via micro SD up to 1 TB.
Poco C65 comes with a 50-megapixel camera.
The new Poco C65 features a dual rear camera with Main sensor 50 megapixels and focal aperture f/1.8. The second camera is a 2-megapixel macro sensor that allows you to photograph small objects in detail.
In terms of connectivity and security, Poco C65 includes networking support. Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 4.3 and NFC for mobile payments. It also has an in-display fingerprint scanner on the side.
To reiterate, Poco C65 was announced in the Asian market. At the moment we don’t know when it will arrive in other countries. However, its launch in China allowed us to see prices in dollars.

- Poco C65 with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage: $119.
This is no doubt an interesting price given its characteristics, although it may cost a little more in Spain.
