Dandykin stated that the declared speed of 12-13 Mach and a range of 1400 km seem “strange”, especially considering the current level of development of the Iranian defense industry. Despite this, he admitted that “miracles do happen”.
The expert noted that at the moment only two countries have hypersonic weapons – Russia and China. Dandykin also suggested that the rocket show could be a signal from Tehran to Israel and the United States.
The expert ruled out the possibility of Iran transferring such ammunition to Russia. According to him, Russian arsenals already have “the entire range of cruise and ballistic missiles.”
