The Moscow City Duma passed a law on the certification of taxi drivers. They will be required to know the addresses of cultural, sports, government, medical and other facilities. This was announced by the chairman of the Moscow City Duma, Alexei Shaposhnikov.

The adopted law provides for the approval of the mandatory certification for knowledge of the addresses of these objects, as well as the rules for operating in emergency mode. The new rules will go into effect on September 1.

In December 2022, the State Duma passed a law allowing freelancers to work in taxis. The law approved by the Moscow City Duma fully complies with the provisions of federal law, Shaposhnikov emphasized.
