Compared to other products on the market, the Cupertino head-up display looks better quality, but is also very expensive. They’ll ask for $3,500 for it, which is noticeably more expensive than the same Quest 3 they promised to sell for just $500.

And many users think it’s too expensive, accusing Apple of wanting to hit the jackpot. And the overall list of Vision Pro components confirms this assumption.

Experts have calculated that the most expensive “detail” of the device is the internal display. It costs $700. The processor, case and other materials are cheaper – their price reaches 120 dollars. At Foxconn the assembly cost is around $130.

As a result, all Apple costs for components are $1509.

True, it is worth noting that the final cost of the helmet also includes logistics, research and development costs. But regardless, the $3,500 price is extremely high. And it’s what can prevent an interesting device from becoming massive.
