The Yandex.Market service plans to register a new brand Cubits. The corresponding information appeared in the Rospatent database, the RB.RU correspondent drew attention.

“Yandex.Market” applied for registration of another brand of children’s goods Cubits

The company’s application appeared on June 7 and is still in the formal examination stage. The mark is registered in Latin transcription.

The product list includes chandeliers, automobiles, pet strollers, video game machines, children’s tricycles, playhouses, and much more.

According to the creative director of the Naming Office, Vadim Dunaev, the new brand will be associated with children. He even suggested it could be a children’s mobile lighting device (“Alice with a Flashlight”) or road safety accessories.

“This is another potential own brand of the company in the category of children’s goods, which the team is working on,” the Yandex press service told RB.RU.

The company also recalled that trademarks, domain names or patents are often registered, but not all of them are used in the future.
