The Verge has shared screenshots of slides from an internal Meta* presentation that was shown to company employees. In them you can see the interface of a new social network aimed at Twitter users.

At the moment, the social network does not yet have an official name, but several publications have spread the information that the project will be released under the Barcelona brand. Furthermore, the internal documents of Meta* The Verge also managed to find several references to an application called Threads.

As is clear from the screenshots, with its minimalistic interface and emphasis on text posts, the social network will resemble Twitter. In response to the rumours, Meta* product manager Chris Cox noted that there is a demand in the creative community on the platform.

*Meta, which owns Facebook and Instagram, has been recognized as an extremist in the Russian Federation and banned.
