The probe does not yet have a name. It is known that the front part of the apparatus has a spherical-conical shape with a diameter of 40 cm, and the rear part is hemispherical. The total weight of the probe is 20.4 kg, it is designed for a load of 1 kg – an autofluorescent nephelometer (an optical instrument for chemical quantitative analysis, in which the concentration or size of particles is measured by light intensity).

The probe should enter the atmosphere of Venus at an altitude of about 200 km and begin observations within 180 seconds. The task of the device is to study the composition of the cloud layer at an altitude of 45-60 km in order to find organic molecules. The whole process should take no more than 330 seconds, after which the transfer of all collected data to Earth will begin immediately.

The probe will be launched into space by the Photon upper stage and into the first near-Earth orbit by the Electron rocket. It is precisely on the launches of this carrier that the company plans to focus in the near future: we are talking about open contracts on Electron.
