American education startup Educate Online has completed the bridge round, raising $640,000 from 27 informal investors in UMAY Angel’s Club. Bakht Niyazov became the lead investor and syndicator in the deal, MOST Ecosystem reported.

The Educate Online team is focused on expanding the business in countries with rapidly growing markets. The share of income received outside the CIS countries is 95%. The investments attracted will be used to develop the online platform and enter the markets of Latin America and Southeast Asia.

The company was founded in 2018 by Igor Borovikov and Alexander Zheltov. Educate Online is a distance learning platform for schools in the UK, US and Canada. Those who graduate receive diplomas, with which it is possible to enter the world’s universities in the future.
