Famed musician and metal inventor Kevin Shields has unveiled an updated version of his guitar pedal design. This is a reference to the times when rock music was young and its performers weren’t expecting too much. As Shields recalls, in the mid-1980s, together with fellow rock bands, he assembled an array of homemade amplifiers, during which the walls went along the course.

Once, during a concert, a butcher from a nearby shop burst into the hall with a cleaver in his hands and, full of rage, hacked everyone and everything, because pieces of plaster fell off his amplifiers from the ceiling during operation. Since then, Shields has reconsidered his attitude to the mass, and not to the richness and complexity of the sound. Which is reflected in the new pedal with advanced features.

The new effect pedal is reminiscent of a vintage Blender from the 1960s, but with double the amount of sound effects. There are four foot switches and a multi-channel machine with phases. The unusual device is produced in batches of 700 pieces and was snapped up for $499 apiece by music enthusiasts.
