Anthropic is a generative artificial intelligence developer. The startup’s key solution is the Claude AI assistant, which has functionality similar to ChatGPT. The company was founded in the US in 2021 by people from OpenAI.

Anthropic has previously raised investments from Google, Spark Capital, Salesforce Ventures and others. Based on the results of the latest Series C round, the startup was valued at about $4.5 billion.

The Raison investment holding company was founded by Russians Andrey Berezin and Alexander Zaitsev. The company has offices in Almaty, Tallinn, San Francisco.

Raison Asset Management, which is part of the holding, has invested in many startups, including Scale AI, Rubik, Klarna.
