VKontakte is preparing to launch a marketplace at the end of the year, where users will be able to create, register, and sell NFT tokens. In this case, all transactions will be carried out in rubles.
Marina Krasnova, CEO of the company, spoke about this during SPIEF in an interview with RIA. According to the person in charge, any user of the platform will be able to create, register, share and sell their own collection of digital assets.
It will be possible to buy tokens in both the primary and secondary markets. Also, sellers will be able to promote collections using VKontakte advertising tools.
“We plan to add several recommendation mechanisms so that users can easily find collections that are of personal interest to them,” Krasnova added.
In December, VKontakte launched the VK NFT service, with which you can transfer digital assets that a user has to accounts. At the same time, the social network announced plans to create its own digital asset marketplace, where users can buy and resell tokens.
According to Krasnova, more than 3.7 million accounts have already been connected to the VK NFT service since December.
