iPhone 15 is an updated UWB chip for ultra-wideband, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said. The new chip is required for close compatibility of the Vision Pro helmet with the iPhone.

One day, the chip will be called U2. It will be based on a 7nm process, while the U1 uses a 16nm process. This will increase performance and reduce power consumption.
