The Indrive delivery service – “Indrive. Couriers” – is thinking of launching a horse-drawn delivery of goods to hard-to-reach areas in Kazakhstan in order to help small and medium-sized enterprises to expand the area of goods delivery.

Indrive plans to test horse delivery in Kazakhstan

An Indrive spokesperson told Shopper’s that smaller businesses are consciously moving away from in-house courier services and partnering with the service to spread the load on peak-hour deliveries without additional investment.

The launch of horse delivery could help provide small and medium-sized businesses with an additional audience of consumers and small-town residents with essential goods and more. Such initiatives can also support local economies and promote regional development.

The company is going to carry out a study and evaluate how practical the delivery of goods using horses can be. This type of delivery will not replace existing methods, but may supplement them where necessary.
