Raiffeisenbank limits transfers in euros to the accounts of other Russian banks, as well as to credit institutions of some “friendly” countries. The restrictions will take effect on July 3, Raiffeisenbank said in a statement.

The changes are being introduced due to restrictions by correspondent banks, the credit institution specified. As of July 3, it will not be possible to transfer euros to Belarus, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkmenistan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and the United Arab Emirates.

The changes apply to both natural and legal persons and entrepreneurs. The new conditions are also relevant for payments in euros to own accounts of clients opened in other banks in these countries.

Raiffeisenbank advises you to change the currency of the outgoing transfer or choose other payment methods.

At the same time, transfers between your own accounts and the accounts of other Raiffeisenbank customers continue to be available.

Previously, the bank introduced a 50% commission for crediting personal funds in dollars from other banks.
