After the exit of some foreign brands, 40% of Russians are ready to buy their products under new names, a survey by the Mindbox marketing automation platform, which was reviewed by RB.RU, showed.
Most often, residents of the country buy familiar foreign brands in markets (43% of cases), in online stores (in 23% of cases) or buy proprietary products on Avito, on Telegram channels and in other ways (in 21% of cases). cases).
Another part of the respondents (45%) reported that they are not willing to spend time and money looking for products of foreign brands that have closed their stores in the Russian Federation.
Almost one in five (18% of cases) is disappointed with the departure of brands, the same number is basically unwilling to buy brands with new names or has already managed to find analogues on the Russian market (in 14% of the cases).
The online survey was conducted in June 2023, more than 1.1 thousand people from more than a million cities of the Russian Federation participated.
After the start of the special operation, some brands left the Russian market and sold the business to local partners. Some stores have reopened under new names. So the Reebok brand became Sneaker BOX, Reserved – RE, Cropp – CR, Zara – Maag, Bershka – Ecru.
