The Ministry of Digital Development is working on proposals to block sites that provide non-international video content from foreign countries.

According to RIA Novosti, this will be possible, assuming that such content is not legally presented in Russia and does not contain extremist materials and LGBT propaganda.

Mintsifry is widespread in an industry dominated by restrictions on access to sites that provide non-international video content of Western majors under exceptional conditions. Such video content must not be legally presented in Russian online services, must not be rented in cinemas, and must not play extremist materials and promote LGBT people.
