After months of rumors and leaks, OnePlus has finally announced its new flagship in China. OnePlus 12which comes with a constant appearance, but with important improvements in terms of hardware, such as a new photographic section, a larger battery and, of course, an updated processor.
The truth is that on an aesthetic level OnePlus 12 is almost impossible to distinguish from its predecessor.. If not for this, yes, there is a key difference: the photographic module is much larger due to new sensors. Despite this, the new OnePlus mobile retains a circular camera that seems to protrude from one of the edges, as well as a glass back with different finishes and a virtually bezel-less front panel.
Talking about the front, OnePlus 12 includes 6.82-inch BOE X1 AMOLED panel with QHD+ resolutionas well as a refresh rate of 120 Hz. However, its screen stands out primarily for its maximum brightness. The terminal can reach a peak brightness of up to 4500 nits., a terrible amount considering the highs of other high-end smartphones. However, its maximum overall brightness is 1600 nits, which is also not bad.
Electricity and cameras in stock
Besides the panel, OnePlus 12 has a processor Snapdragon 8 generation 3 from Qualcomm. There is 12, 16 or 24 GB of RAM, as well as built-in memory of 256, 512 GB or 1 TB. And all this is on top of a terrible 5400mAh battery and 100W fast charging.
In the photographic section we find the main sensor. Sony LYT-808 48 megapixels. Specifically, this is the same camera that we see on the OnePlus Open foldable.
As a new product, the company chose OmniVision OV64B 64MP telephoto lens, which is capable of taking photos with 3x optical zoom. The OnePlus 12 also features a 48-megapixel Sony IMX581 ultra-wide-angle camera.
OnePlus also saved collaboration with Hasselblad, who are engaged not only in the development of lenses, but also in software, exclusive functions of their cameras, as well as various photo filters.
