We have reported in several posts about strength AirTags find lost items, and not just cell phones, bags, or more mundane and mundane items, but now a statue of a bull that was stolen in San Antonio, Texas, from a taco restaurant called Don Manolo.
Tacos Don Manolito opened in January and their giant bull mascot named Manolo has already been stolen and luckily for them found. Luckily, Manolo did not disappear for long.
That’s thanks to chef and restaurant owner David Barke, who outfitted the 150-pound fiberglass bull with an AirTag just in case.
Arriving at work on Tuesday morning, Barke and employees were able to contact the police and report the missing giant bull to the authorities.
Luckily, the police were able to use the location data from AirTag to trace Manolo’s whereabouts. The temporary owners of the bull claimed they bought it from someone else, Barke says, but he doesn’t believe it, given that the fiberglass bull was stolen between his restaurant’s closing and reopening.
