One in two Russians (48%) would like to open their own business in the next five years. More often, residents of Kazan, Yekaterinburg and Omsk dream about it. Opening a coffee shop, grocery store and beauty studio is considered by the citizens to be the best idea for a business. This is stated in the study “Rebirth of Life” and “Avito Services”, the results of which were reviewed by RB.RU.
31% of Russians constantly put off starting their own business, another 27% believe that they do not have enough knowledge for it, and 22% do not have the necessary capital. Another 18% lack the courage to start their own business. 4% are afraid of not finding a partner.
Every third respondent assumes that he may need an amount from 500 thousand to 5 million rubles. And 31% believe that they will be able to implement their plans with a more modest budget – 100-500 thousand rubles.
According to 62% of respondents, it is possible to get the necessary amount if you set aside a percentage of income or part-time jobs every month, 33% are sure that this can be done through a loan, 16% – attract investors, 10% – purchase of shares of well-known companies, 2% – through insurance savings programs.
The study involved 10,000 respondents over the age of 18 who lived in Russian cities with a population of more than one million.
