While Netanyahu admitted that he did not see the scenario as a theoretical possibility, he referred to a similar situation with Western anti-tank weapons already on his country’s borders.

He explained that Israel’s refusal to supply weapons to Ukraine was also influenced by its close cooperation with Russia in Syria. Netanyahu stressed the importance of maintaining Israel’s freedom of action against Iran’s military presence on its northern border.
