Wildberries, together with partner banks, launched a lending service in a mobile application. Users will be able to apply for a loan in a few clicks for purchases over 30 thousand rubles. This was reported by the press service of the joint company RVB.

To use the service, the buyer must select the “Credit” section in the payment methods and send an application, indicating the phone number and passport data. The decision of the partner banks should arrive within a few minutes. The user will be able to choose the most appropriate offer based on the term, rate and amount of the monthly payment, and then complete the purchase, the company explained.
The credit agreement is activated only after receipt of the goods. “This mechanism allows the buyer not to pay interest while the merchandise is in transit or if he decides to reject the merchandise,” they explained in the press service.
RVB noted that the new tool aims to make shopping at Wildberries more accessible. The innovation will provide sellers with the opportunity to increase sales in categories with a high average bill, where buyers are not always ready to pay for goods immediately. In addition, sellers will receive the full cost of the goods immediately after registration, the company noted.
