Wildberries has changed the rules for returning defective products, the market said. Now the customer does not have to wait for the receipt of the defective item back to the warehouse.
Previously, the company automatically refunded customers after the defective product was returned to the warehouse. Now the client only needs to contact the manager of the issuing point to confirm the marriage. The employee of the collection point will make a corresponding note on the interface. Therefore, funds for reverse logistics will not be cancelled.
“The online platform continues to enhance the functionality of this service – in the near future it will also work with courier delivery,” Wildberries said in a statement.
The company began charging buyers for the reverse logistics of goods last spring. In May, Tatyana Bakalchuk, the founder of the market, said that such measures were introduced “to combat shopaholics.”
