However, it has a few drawbacks: Like most other touchscreen devices, the ROG Ally display is glued to the body of the console, making it a little inconvenient to replace. iFixit also complains about the lack of officially available replacement parts for the ROG Ally. Asus itself has not confirmed its plans to sell these parts.
However, for example, the battery pack is relatively easy to replace, despite the warning label; this was considered a significant advantage of the ROG Ally repair over the Steam Deck – on the ROG Ally the battery is fixed with screws, while there is a battery glued to it.
