Apple has begun testing self-driving cars at a 22 km² test site in Arizona, according to Car and Driver.

The publication noticed cars at test sites with sensors similar to those that attend Apple tests on Lexus cars. The territory of the landfill is closed, the cars are far from the fence, so they could not be found.

In 2021, Route 14 Investment Partners LLC bought the landfill for $125 million. The company is rumored to have happened to Apple’s Project Titan car project.

Until 2005, Chrysler observed the site and used it for testing cars. It detects the detection of ray detection traces on cars, and also has pads that simulate mountain slopes and city traffic. [Car and Driver]
