Last Thursday (25), nutritionist and entrepreneur Jéssica Rodriguez, 24, published viral message twitter about an enterprise to blow not very detailed. A criminal apparently used an image editor from Instagram, to edit and send fake payment receipt after making a purchase with the entrepreneur.

The scammer said he would send the payment after the items were shipped, after making a big purchase at the La Vieh online store founded by Rodriguez. However, the nutritionist sent a driver to carry out the delivery and did not receive payment until he filed a complaint with the alleged buyer.

Fortunately, he managed to contact the driver and asked him not to deliver the package until he received the payment. By the way, the scammer sent an edited receipt, which did not convince the entrepreneur, thereby confirming that the purchase was a coup attempt.

“Suddenly it says you have the receipt [enviado], when I open it is a completely black photo, I said I can’t see it and sent it again. The second edition, the surprise of the ‘transmitted’… So I quickly called the driver and asked him to come back,” said Rodriguez. TecMundo.

The story, shared on Twitter on Wednesday 25th, has already been liked by more than 200,000 people and has been shared on more than 16,000 profiles on the social network.

The entrepreneur reported that at first he did not suspect the scammer, as he introduced himself as João and said he had a store in Rio de Janeiro. directly contacted the profile of an alleged store on social media. In total, communication between the scammer and the nutritionist took less than 20 minutes, from contact to discovery of the scam.

“Fortunately, I also knew that my app wasn’t doing that. it happened I was undecided as I sold some parts 2 minutes ago and the pix arrived! Jessica said she took another hit when she opened her store in February 2022.
