One such paradox of technology and part manufacturing is what has been revealed about the famous weather balloons or Chinese spies, as the report shows they were entirely American made.

Here’s what the report says Wall Street Magazine, says that “a lot of American-made equipment was found inside the wreckage of the balloon, designed to collect photographs, videos and other information. Among the components were a satellite device, solar panels for power, a propeller and devices for collecting photographs, video and radar data.

Some US-made intelligence gathering equipment can be found for sale online. However, their mixing with specialized Chinese sensors and other equipment led this preliminary investigation to conclude that the Chinese balloons were designed for espionage.

The investigation also suggests that the downed craft near South Carolina did not transmit any information to China during its eight-day journey over the continent. It was not explained whether the lack of data transfer was due to a software or hardware failure, some other problem with the balloon, or whether the data transfer was hindered by US authorities.
