Stuart McGinn, director of Baycroft Care Homes, listed six heart-healthy foods. All of them help lower cholesterol.

oily fish. It is rich in omega-3 fatty acids that help control cholesterol levels. They lower triglycerides, the main components of body fat.

whole grains. This is brown rice, whole grain pasta, whole wheat bread.

Nuts and seeds. They contain healthy unsaturated fats. You can consume nuts such as almonds, cashews, pistachios, hazelnuts, walnuts, walnuts.

Oats and barley. Both contain soluble fiber, which prevents the body from absorbing cholesterol. Try replacing your regular breakfast with porridge.

Beans and legumes. They lower “bad” cholesterol levels.

Fruits and vegetables. It is high in fiber, which helps control cholesterol. The specialist advised to eat pears, oranges, lemons, apples, plums, avocados, and from vegetables – broccoli.
