Moscow has developed a charging station for several electric vehicles at once, the capital’s mayor Sergei Sobyanin said on the official Telegram channel.
The station is capable of charging three electric vehicles at the same time, the average charging time is 10-20 to 40-60 minutes.
According to the mayor, only domestic components and software are used in the project.
The development will be installed in urban facilities, in residential areas or settlements of country houses. It is equipped with current leakage protection and an emergency charging stop button. As reported, annually the Moscow company will be able to produce more than 500 such devices.
In Moscow, several companies are engaged in the production of electric charging stations (ECS). The developer of the current charging station is not named, however the SAGA Technologies logo is visible in the video from the mayor’s office.
In total, more than 400 EZS have been installed on the streets of the capital, of which 212 are stations of Moscow manufacturers.
