Apple launched this Wednesday (5), Third beta of iOS 17 for iPhones. The operating system, which entered the testing phase exactly a month ago, promises good news for the company’s mobile phones.

In the third beta launched today, Apple is rolling out new features for Apple Music, Messages, Home, and more.

What’s new in iOS 17 beta 3?

Apple has added a new home screen with pre-selected settings for adjusting the colors of a particular light bulb, for example, in the iOS 17 Home app. This area is also compatible with other smart devices.

Already in the Messages app, the company has made a minor tweak to the app selector – this is what is displayed when the “+” (plus) button is tapped. Now in the photos area, you can view the latest image from the gallery on the icon.

The interface of the Photos app has also been improved.. When selecting multiple media, the user will see a three-dot icon at the bottom that displays action buttons when selected. Options for deletion, recovery or “save as video” for animated images (Live Photos); or “show less” in the case of pictures of people.

Apple Music

In this third beta of iOS 17, Apple Music now displays song credits with the names of artists (artists, composers), producers, and sound engineers. To view the details, the user has to tap the three dots button at the top of the screen and select “view credits”.

Along with the Health app, the update also includes minor design changes. Regarding the user’s emotions, the system uses different background and button colors that must match each mood.

Can I download iOS 17 now?

iOS 17 beta is now available to install, but still in developer-focused testing. The public beta should only go live at the end of July. It is worth noting that the update is compatible with the following iPhone models:
