This remarkable result was achieved by American enthusiast Allen “Splave” Golibersuch, who constantly pushes the limits of GPU overclocking.

Just yesterday, it was reported that another overclocker named Cens managed to overclock the AD102 graphics chip in the Colorful RTX 4090 iGame LAB to 3975 MHz. It lacked only 25 MHz to the 4 GHz psychological mark.

But today, rival Splave announced the results of its overclocking efforts on the ASUS RTX 4090 ROG Matrix, which achieved incredible clock speeds of 4005MHz and 4020MHz in the GPUPI 3.3 32B and GPUPI 3.3 1B tests, respectively.

This achievement represents an astonishing 59% increase over the standard clock speed of 2520 MHz for this accelerator model.

It is worth noting that the overclocked RTX 4090 ROG Matrix operating at a frequency of over 4000 MHz sets an absolute record in the GPUPI benchmark for calculating the Pi number to 32 billion decimal places, completing the task in just 45 seconds. 402 milliseconds.
