Although there has been no official announcement from Microsoft yet, leaks and some concept designs show that work on Windows 12 is at an active stage.

One of the biggest changes will be the introduction of a desktop with rounded corners and a floating taskbar that diverges from the edges of the screen. However, the final version of the operating system may differ from the one shown earlier.

In addition, Windows 12 promises to provide high performance on devices with ARM processors.

Mass deployment of new items is scheduled to begin only in 2025, not immediately after the announcement.
