Starting on July 6, the cost of a standard Game Pass subscription will increase to $10.99 instead of the previous $9.99.
For new customers, an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription will no longer be $14.99, but $16.99. This change will not yet affect regions such as Chile, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Saudi Arabia.
For existing subscribers, the price change will take effect from 13 August (or 13 September in Germany).
In addition, the price of the Xbox Series X console will increase from August 1. In Europe it will cost 549 euros from the previous 499 euros, and in Canada the price will increase from 599 Canadian dollars to 649 euros.
The price of the Microsoft gaming platform in Japan, Brazil, Colombia, Chile and the USA will not change for now. At least in the near future.
