At the same time, the share of Kaspersky Lab’s anti-virus products increased by 14% to 94%. And this happened even against the backdrop of a 54% drop in sales of company licenses. At Dr.Web developer, antivirus sales fell 14% and 25% in parts and money, respectively. Avast has 92% and 83%. ESET has almost 100%; these companies left Russia at the very beginning of the NWO. Romanian seller SoftWin took its place in the Russian market, the sales of this company’s products increased 1.5 times both in terms of quantity and monetary.

According to experts interviewed by the publication, such a decrease in Russian interest in antiviruses is due to Microsoft’s departure from the country. In Russia, almost no new laptops and computers are sold with a preinstalled Windows operating system and antivirus software of any well-known brand.
