81% of Russian companies conduct interviews online. This mainly concerns the search for sales managers and IT specialists. This was reported by Vedomosti with reference to a study of the hh.ru service and the Kontur.Tolk video communication platform.
21% of employers have transferred all stages of recruitment online, 60% meet with the candidate in person for the final interview.
Experts identify several situations in which online interviews are preferable. The first concerns customers from Moscow and St. Petersburg, when they are looking for specialists in local markets or looking for employees with less demands. Here we are talking about both remote work and possible relocation to the city where the employer is present.
In the second case, these are requests from regional companies, the third situation is large corporations, whose staff are dispersed in different regions and countries and are not tied to the physical location of the employees.
