Microsoft announced the winners of the competition this Friday (27). Best apps for Windows It is available in the official store of the operating system.
The event is an annual celebration of the launch of the new Windows Store and includes both the internal review category (Editor’s Choice) and community vote (Community Selection). This time, only utilities competed, not taking into account the games.

in category BenefitThe winners were the screenshot app ShareX and Ookla’s internet connection speed test Speedtest.
Inside file managementThe prize is for Rufus, which helps create the Files App folder interface and bootable OS USB sticks.
Finally, Open PlatformThe medal was split between three apps: Auto Dark Mode (creates a custom Dark Mode), EarTrumpet (an advanced audio controller), and ModernFlyouts (which changes the interface controls for brightness, volume, and the like).

When it comes to in-house awards, the company chose other categories – including the Talk for Me accessibility program, which helps people with motor disabilities communicate using a dedicated keyboard.
