Initially LLaMA was launched as a small base model for researchers and scientists, but now Meta* is ready to offer a commercial version that will allow developers and companies to build applications using this LLM.
With different parameter sizes ranging from 7 billion to 65 billion, LLaMA offers a range of opportunities to “adapt and power AI”. The comparable large language model GPT-3.5 from OpenAI has 175 billion verified parameters, and the exact number of GPT-4 parameters has not been disclosed, but is estimated to exceed 1 trillion.
*Belongs to Meta, which is considered extremist and banned in the Russian Federation.
