This also applies to the long-awaited iMac equipped with an M3 processor. Presumably this could happen after the iPhone 15 launch. Note that Gurman previously reported that a new iMac with M3 processor is expected later this year.
An insider warned that this estimate should be handled with care. It also indicates a very favorable time frame for the announcement.
The thing is, the latest iMac update right now was over two years ago.
The new iMac is expected to be an improved version of the current model with a 24-inch screen. At the same time, other expectations such as the hope of change in form factor and screen size will not be justified until the end of 2024.
Note that if the leak is confirmed, this will mean that we will get the first computers based on the M3 chip, which has not been announced until the end of 2023.
