The Central Bank issued a commemorative silver coin in honor of the work of the Soviet artist, founder of the Kino group Viktor Tsoi. The face value of the coin is 3 rubles. This is stated in the regulator’s press release.
The circulation of the coin is 5,000 pieces made of 925 carat alloy, its diameter is 39.0 mm. On the obverse is a coat of arms, on the reverse is a portrait of a singer with a microphone in his hands against the background of a guitar. The name of the performer and the years of his life are also indicated on the coin.
In February, the Central Bank issued a commemorative coin depicting Russian playwright Alexander Ostrovsky.
