The Guinness Book of World Records issued French firefighter Jonathan Vero certificates for installing two new records and a skull for unusual viewed records. Vero ran a hundred meters in 17 seconds and carried out a 272.25 m distance detection run. The peculiarity of his achievements is that he escaped, got engulfed in flames.

How to prevent Vero, fire is his passion. But he loves not to set fire, but to pacify his flame, to control it – that’s why he works as a fireman. New records set him down, but there was still time for them to be recorded. Now Vero is dreaming about the next achievements, he has a lot of new ideas.

Before the race, Vero puts on a three-layer protection. The first is underwear with long sleeves and legs, plus a layer of fireproof gel on the skin. The second layer consists of a fire-resistant overall soaked in the same gel. Over this, he dons a typical firefighter outfit, including leggings and heavy boots. Even just running around is hard, and Vero sets himself on fire and runs with speed and endurance.

Despite the precautions taken, during the setting of the last records, Vero still continued. His back was partially burned and there were burns on his hamstrings. But, as the hero says, pain is part of the pleasure of achievements.
