Russian technology advertising platform for mobile In-App traffic Mobidriven has attracted first investment worth 70 million rubles from private investors. The round was syndicated by venture firm Startech.Partners, its representative told RB.RU.
The startup received funding from private investors, the syndicator for the round is Startech.Partners. The money will be used to expand equipment and operating expenses “until the project reaches seasonal peak sales.” As a result of the transaction, the investors collectively received a 20% interest in the company.
“The start-up fully meets the criteria that the project has a clear revenue projection, a professional team, and the potential for a quick return on investment. Mobidriven has a projected ROI of 2.5 years. Starting next year, investors can already count on the first tranche of dividends based on the results of 2023,” a Startech.Partners representative told RB.RU.
According to the Kontur.Focus system, Priority LLC (the legal entity of Mobidriven) was founded in 2014, but the company began to work actively from mid-2022. Then, according to the representative of Startech.Partners, “it was acquired by a new owner to do business”.
As of July 11, 2023, Mobidriven is 80% owned by Sergey Safonov, 17.14% by Vladimir Smirnov, 2.86% by Startech LLC. Project revenue in 2022 amounted to 147.5 million rubles, net profit – 23.7 million rubles.
- Mobidriven offers advertisers a set of tools for a full cycle of programmatic buying (buying personalized online advertising impressions). The company works with both brands and agencies. Clients include a Russian bank, a large perfumery and a fast food chain (Startech.Partners did not name specific brands).
- In June 2023, Mobidriven was included in Sber’s list of 25 startups to participate in the fourth wave of the Sber500 international accelerator.
