Oleg Tinkov, a businessman who renounced Russian citizenship, founder of TCS Group, commented on the lifting of UK sanctions against him. He published a post about it on his page on the social network.

Tinkov called the imposition of sanctions on him a mistake that was corrected. Therefore, he said “thanks to democracy” and clarified that “in the end the truth wins.”

“Democracies, unlike dictatorial regimes, can and can correct their mistakes, since here we have courts, the press and other institutions working,” the businessman wrote.

The UK lifted all sanctions against Oleg Tinkov on Thursday, July 20. They were filed against a businessman in March 2022.
