The Ministry of Finance proposed to conduct an experiment in Russia on remote company registration without personal presentation of documents. The experiment should start in September 2023 and will be coordinated by the Federal Tax Service.
In Russia, they will conduct an experiment on registering a company without the personal presentation of documents. The draft of the corresponding decree of the Ministry of Finance is published on the legal acts portal.
According to the resolution, companies and individual entrepreneurs will be able to register a business remotely “in one click”. Entrepreneurs will be able to choose a bank to open a checking account and start using it almost immediately.
Only customers of the bank participating in the experiment or users of a single biometric system will be able to register a business remotely. At the first stage, Sberbank will be included in the experiment.
IP registration now takes three business days and requires personal or electronic submission of documents to the Federal Tax Service (FTS).
The experiment will start on September 1, 2023 and end on May 31, 2025. The FTS will be the coordinator of the project.
