CDEK launched groupage cargo delivery between Russia and Kazakhstan. Entrepreneurs will be able to send orders with a weight of 100 to 800 kg. A service representative told RB.RU about this.
On the territory of Russia, 159 cities are connected to the service, in Kazakhstan – Almaty, Astana, Uralsk. Delivery can be made both at the CDEK warehouse and at the customer’s home.
LTL shipping is beneficial because the car’s cargo space is divided among multiple shippers. By choosing this format, the sender pays only for the space occupied by their upload. Therefore, the cost of delivery to the warehouse or to the customer’s address depends solely on the weight and volume of the cargo, said Olga Lisitsyna, groupage cargo product manager.
On the service’s website using a calculator, you can calculate the cost of shipping the goods. Additional services include palletizing, packaging, insurance, collection and delivery of merchandise.
The list of prohibited shipments includes vegetables, fruits, oversized cargo, if the size of one piece is more than 200x120x150 cm and the weight is more than 800 kg.
- In early July, CDEK launched parcel delivery at a convenient time with an interval of 1 hour. The service is free and valid for all door-to-door orders, so far only in Moscow, but will soon appear in St. Petersburg, Samara, Krasnodar and Novosibirsk.
