The memes about the diametrically opposed visuals of the two films—one completely colorful and contrasting with the vibrant, dark aesthetic—helped increase the sarcasm surrounding the releases. Videos with the hashtag Barbienheimer on TikTok, for example, reached more than 120 million views even before the release of the two films.
