Magomedov warns that these requests could allow the app to access large amounts of our personal data. Before allowing it, it’s important to consider: does the game or puzzle app really need to access our contacts?
You should be especially careful with apps from unknown developers. Magomedov recommends reading the reviews and studying the app description before installing. When in doubt, it’s best to choose an app with a good reputation. If you don’t want to grant the requested permissions, you can always disable them, but it’s important to understand that some apps may not work properly without the required permissions, such as the inability of taxis to determine your location to provide the service.
It’s worth remembering that operating systems like Android and iOS also request access to data to “enhance” the experience. However, this data may be used by companies for marketing purposes. Magomedov recommends periodically checking installed applications and deleting those that are no longer needed, as they can consume resources and data on our device even in the background.
