An Anthropic blog says that Claude Instant 1.2 provides longer and more structured answers, better adherence to formatting guidelines and citation extraction, multilingual capabilities, and improvements to question answering.
Additionally, this version minimizes bugs and hacking attempts and preserves the Claude 2-like content window that prevents memory loss during a search.
