LG has recently launched the StandbyME Go, a TV that fits in a suitcase and can be taken anywhere. The novelty is already available on the manufacturer’s website for pre-sale starting at US$999 (approximately RS$4,976 in direct conversion), and shipments are scheduled to begin August 28.
LG’s new device has a 27-inch screen and 1080p resolution without 4K support. StandbyME Go comes with pre-installed apps like YouTube TV, Apple TV, Paramount+, Disney+, Hulu, and Netflix.
The TV can be controlled by touching the screen, using voice commands or using the supplied remote control. The case in which the portable television is located has a built-in battery that lasts for three hours, allowing users to use it for a long time without recharging.
As for connectivity, the StandbyME Go also has HDMI inputs for devices like Fire TV or Apple TV for example, or consoles like Xbox. It comes with four built-in speakers.
Another outstanding feature of LG StandbyME Go is that it can work in an upright position. That is, the horizontal position makes it look like a regular TV, while the vertical position reminds it of a tablet, which can make it easier to access social networks. A nice variety of versatility for those who love dynamism.
Apparently, portable TV is not yet available in Brazil.
