The budget Huawei Nova Y91 has a massive 7000mAh battery. But is it worth it just for that?
The first thing that catches the eye of the Huawei Nova Y91 is an iPhone-like explosion. In principle, this is done for the active purchase of this device.
The second point is a huge 6.95-inch screen with an IPS matrix and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. Now, there are hardly any smartphones on the market with such a large screen. But at the same time, the Nova Y91 is quite thick due to its 7000 mAh battery. Therefore, it will be enough for 1.5-2 days of active use.
Huawei Nova Y91 is powered by Snapdragon 680 processor, which scored only 200 thousand points in AnTuTu. At the same time, the smartphone, oddly enough, works quite fast. You can play PUBG smoothly even at medium settings. Nova Y91 has 8 GB of RAM.
I chose it instead of advertising.
The phone also comes with a 22.5W charger. The device charges up to 100% in approximately 1.5 hours. The same amount is required to fully charge the Galaxy S23 Ultra with a 5000 mAh battery.
One of the serious disadvantages of the Huawei Nova Y91 is the lack of Google services on it.
The last point is the camera. In fact, there is only one on the back panel – 50 MP. There is also a 2MP lens for portrait shots. Daytime photos are okay on the Nova Y91, but weak in the evening and at night. Also, the smartphone does not know how to shoot 4K videos and has no stabilization.
On the one hand, the Huawei Nova Y91 has some really cool features: a big screen, no PWM, a big battery, nice looks, a case and a charger are included. On the other hand, this phone has a really weak processor: at such a price, the Helio G99 should have stopped instead. It also lacks stabilization, a wide-angle camera.
