Daniel Dejarlet, head of Xiaomi’s public relations department, confirmed on his Twitter account that sales of the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 will be limited to the brand’s domestic market. He wrote: “I confirm that the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 will only be available in mainland China.”
This decision has caused disappointment among many Xiaomi fans in other countries, who expressed their regret in comments to Desjarlais’ post.
Given the huge interest in the new device outside of China, the reasons for Xiaomi’s decision are not yet clear.
